On 9 April 2013 an interested audience met in Brussels following an invitation by DEKRA to join an evening event on the „Risks of drink driving – A road safety perspective“. After a welcome by Mrs. Dr. Nicola Schelling, Head of the Representation of Baden-Württemberg to the EU, and the opening speech on „dangers of drinking and driving“ by Dr. Dieter-L. Cook, MEP and Vice-Chairman of the EP Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN), presentations followed by Mr. Wolf-Rüdiger Nickel (ICADTS), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schubert (DGVP) and Mrs. Caroline Reimann (DEKRA).
